Blast from the Past

Hiya

Hope you are all well.

I have been thinking about what I can make for the girls in the family for Chirstmas this year, how organised am I!!  Have seen a very modern and lovely rag doll which reminded me about one that I made years ago (over 20! :O).  Here she is.  She is now residing in my waldrobe as she freaks hubby out.  So I was thinking of making these with little outfits, maybe a coat and bag.  I think there are a few little girls who would love one.

But back to what I am doing now.  I went on a cupcake decorating course yesterday (got another one next Wednesday morning) and decorated these cupcakes.  I love them and really enjoyed decorating them.  The kids and hubby certainly enjoyed eating them!

And finally I did manage to finish this pink dinosaur.

I am also part way through my latest project.  My youngest son decided he wanted a dragon and that I had to make it.  So after trawling through the internet I could not find one that I either liked or felt I could do.  So I sketched out roughly, and I do mean roughly on the back of an envelope, of what I wanted and am trying to replicate it in crochet form.  I am actually writing down the pattern as I go and if it works well I will post it here.  Of course if it doesnt you will never hear of it again! lol

I hope everyone has a good evening and hopefully I will be back soon with a crochet dragon. :D

Enough of the Crazy

Hiya

So, my husband now thinks I have totally lost it.  After making my washing up liquid apron, I then made one for my hand soap bottle.

These are so cute and fun to make I then made some more.  And its whilst sewing these that my hubbie made the comment "enough of the crazy".  I prefere unique! :D

Finally I have managed to finish Elmo.  Although why he is so skinny, I dont know and I think I used a different size crochet hook to make the inside of his mouth as it turned out too big so looks a bit odd!  Ah well, showed the kids and they love him so thats all that matters.

I have almost finished the dinosaur but that has turned out a bit odd as well!  And I have dug out a few more cute fabrics for washing up bottle aprons.  Need to keep up the crazy unique, its fun!

Hope to see you soon

Lots of Things Started..

Hello

As the title says, I seemed to have lots of things started but not finished.  I started an elmo but ran out of white for the eyes, then I started a pink dinosaur forgetting that I had no white to finish it.  So I then started a blue dog, got one leg done and now cant find the pattern!!!!!! :s

So, onto the stuff I have finished.

My friend's daughter will be 1 soon so I made her this teddy bear.  Of course the dark pink is sparkly as all girls need a bit of sparkle.

I had an order for a gardening nana sock monkey.  So this is what I came up with.  The basket has flowers and carrots in it. :D

As I was making a apron for nana sock monkey I decided to sew up some more for my washing up liquid bottle and hand soap bottle for the kitchen.  My kitchen is red and white so obviously everything has to be red and white.  This is what I made.

And here it is on the washing up liquid bottle.  I love it!  I need to by more ribbon for the next one.

I hope you like my little makes.   See you soon with, hopefully, some more finished goodies.
