How Long :o

Hiya

How long as I been gone for, its been a while.  I havent done much but I have finished the dragon for my youngest.

 

And here is Mr Blobby.  My friend who asked for him asked for another one slightly different for her daughter (this one is for her son).

So when I went shopping I found this wool and thought it was lovely

 

So as this is for a girl, I am going to make a Mrs Blobby from this wool.  And then try to find lots of other stuff to make out of it as I love it :D

4 Days to go....

Evening all

Oooohhhhh only 4 days until holiday.  I havent even started packing yet! :(  But in my defence I was working this morning and had a governor meeting this afternoon.  Tomorrow I have toddler group in morning (really hope they dont expect me to organise craft :O) and ironing in afternoon and then thursday I can start packing.  Plan A :D

And I made this for my friend for her car. :D

I finally decided to sew up the dragon I designed for my youngest son.  Got this far before the wool need broke.  So had to stop although to be fair, he is just missing his other wing.  The rest I still have to crochet so not really holding me back.  Yes, I know he needs eyes.

Made the Organizer, now just ot use it! :D

Hello All, thanks for popping by.

I have done a little bit to my kitchen.  Two red pots on the window sill which I planted 1 hot pepper plant and 1 sweet pepper plant.  And thats about it!!!  But its a start. :D

Still not done anything with the dragon except buy the stuffing.  And whilst there I picked up a 30 bottle Chardonnay wine kit reduced from £24 to £6.  Happy days!  Just need to find time to make it.

Instead of making the kitchen thing I decided to make an organiser for my paperwork and diary.  So I made these. 

Ideal for my diary, notepad, little note book and maybe paperwork.  I can have lots of lists at my fingertips rather than piled up EVERYWHERE.  But my mate had these so had to make more.

I have lots of fabric I like so I made these 3.

This is my favourite one.  I love the colours, so bright and cheerful.

I have to buy more interface tomorrow and then I want to make some kids travel art cases.  Although you may have notice my plans dont always happen! lol

A House into A Home?????

Hiya

Sadly still not done anything.  Ok, I have done a bit but not finished anything.  The dragon is coming along slowly.  I now have a head, body, 2 legs with claws, 2 arms with claws and 2 wings.  But ran out of stuffing and now have to figure out how to do the tail and some sort of spines for his back.

I was reading a blog earlier with a link to another blog (for some reason i cant link to it) which was about making her house look nice.  We do not have any spare money at the moment so I think I am going to try and start making my house into my home thriftily.  The kitchen was done out a few years ago and is looking tatty, thats what happens when you go to a cheap place who have now closed!  So needs painting and bits I can make nice, made nice!  The living room needs new flooring and new wallpaper put up.  As does dinning room.  Hall needs new floor and under the laminate looked at as it does dip quite alot when stepped on, and painted.  So I have a lot to do.  Before doing all that I need to clean and de-clutter.  Cant even put anything up in attic as its full of junk up there.

The first thing I should do is to clear out under the stairs.  Wonder if I will get round to that next week.  Maybe the first thing I should do is write a list..............
