Girl Dinosaur

Evening all

I have finished the green hat.  It is a girl dinosaur.  Would have finished the angry birds ones last night but we had a wine tasting instead.  Very nice wine and to be fair, at £180 for 12 bottles I would bloody well hope it was :o

 

 

 

Suppose I had best get on with the angry birds hat but not sure how much I will get done with the glass of wine I am about to pour ;-)

A Few New Makes

Evening all

So I have made a few things.  Not many, been a bit lazy really and until last week I had no wool I wanted to use.  But my lovely friend has given me a huge bag of wool.  So have used that.

Firstly I have finished my SIL's hat and cowl set for xmas.  How organised am I!!! lol

 

I then made myself some cuffs for my boots (which I havent actually worn since making them as I bought a new pair for £8 (reduced from £28 :D) so have been wearing them instead.  But when I do wear them I will take a photo of what they look like. 

 

 

 

And these hats, these are for my friends daughters made from some of the wool she has given me.  As you can see they are quite plain, so I will be making them more interesting........

 

 

And finally, my 6 year old daughter helped me with todays roast.  She made the yorkshire pudding, measuring it all out and mixing it.  And this was the result.  Pretty good for her first time I think.

Finally Finished the Heat Bags

Evening all

 

 

Managed to get the sewing machine out today.  I fixed our fitted sheet that was ripped at all 4 corners, wont last long but at least it will do for now.

 

And made some microwave rice heat bags.  They are in the ladybirds in the picture, so this can now be sent to my friend.  Hope she likes them :D

 

Am still working on a scarf, its not as fast as the last one I made, I just hope it looks as good and is warm, it will be my first Chirstmas present finished if it is :D

Quick, I Can Upload Pictures...

 

Evening all

 

I have tried every day to put on my pictures and today, my computer is letting me upload.  So here is my hat, I know, same as one I have done before but I am working on a different design for the scarf to go with it.



 

 

These are my ladybird hand warmers.  I just need to put a button on them and make the rice bag for the middle of it.  Then post it to my friend and hopefully it will help with her hands as they get painful when cold.

And finally, day 1 of the crochet along, not done any other days and now I see the finished product, I dont think I will.  It looks like a bonnet, I wont wear it and I dont know anyone who would, lovely that it is, its just not me.  So I doubt I will be finishing it.  And doesnt help that what I have done is wrong. lol

So, to do list, rice bags and buttons for ladybirds and scarf.  And then angry bird hat for ds1.  Lots to do as usual :D

I have made another hat, ladybird handwarmers and started a crochet a long.

More Hats

Hiya

Still making hats.  Here are my most recent 2, the dinosaur one is my youngest and he loves it (and so do his teachers :D).

Ho hum, what to make next.  I want to make some hand warmers, a set for a friend whos hands ache in the cold.  Might start on that next.  Wonder if I can crochet a ladybird.   Hmmmmmmmmm
